Baby Jogger has voluntarily issued a recall on its City Mini strollers due to a weak harness buckle. When the harness straps are pulled, the buckle could be pulled apart by forces less than 2lbs. This is much less than the pulling forces of a typical sized child and can lead to children falling from the stroller.
The recall applies to both the single and the double strollers sold over the last two years through various retailers including Amazon.com. If you believe you have purchased one of these products, we urge you to check out the recall notice for part numbers and contact information for a replacement buckle.
